IPOD Nano
Raffle
The Class of 2012 is raffling off an IPOD Nano. The raffle
will start on 22 February and end on 5 March. Tickets cost
$.50 each or you can buy 10 for $4.00. The tickets will be
sold at lunch for all grades (including the junior high). If
you can't buy your tickets at lunch, stop by the ROTC room and see
Major Conley or the Shirt.
SWIC Placement
Test
SWIC will be here on March 10 at 12:00 to administer the English
and math placement tests to seniors planning on attending SWIC next
year. Please sign up to take this test on the bulletin board
across from the office.
Senior
presentation
A representative from the Illinois Student Assistance Commission
will be here on Friday, March 5th to present
information to seniors planning to attend a 4 or 2 year
college/university next year to help them be as successful as
possible. The purpose of the session is to provide
information, and an opportunity for discussion, about the various
challenges and expectations students will face at college next
year.
If you are interested in attending this informational session,
please sign up with Mrs. Kaase in the guidance office by
Thursday, March 4th.
Seniors attending a 4 year university/college next year will meet
from 9:00-10:00. Seniors planning on attending a 2 year
college next year will meet from 12:00-1:00.
