Career Day: Register by the end of the day Tuesday for the Career Day presentations you want to see. If you do not register, you will be assigned to presentations. Look for the email from Mrs. Kirsch for the link to sign up.
Seniors: turn in your senior quotes and photos to Emma Garner in order to receive your senior shirts!
Float Fridays: Float Fridays are back. The senior class will be selling root beer floats and pizza slices during all lunches on Friday.
Prom: Upperclassmen, join us on March 25th for A Black Tie Affair. Then after that, join us at the Edge for after prom. Tickets are $30 for just prom and $50 for the prom and after prom bundle will be sold in the office. The last day to buy tickets is March 10th.
Game Day - Yes! We have Game Day on Thursday in the High School Library from 3-5 p.m.
Jr high Track: There will be a junior high track meeting in the science lab at the beginning of Guided Advisory on Monday, March 6. If you have any questions, email Coach Carpenter.
Yearbooks- Students, yearbooks are on sale now. You can order them online (at DHS Yearbooks) or in Mr. Weier’s classroom (Room 230). They are $55 until May 1st. After May 1st, they increase to $60 each.
Scholar Bowl: Good luck to the Varsity Scholar Bowl team tonight at the Metro East Lutheran Regional.
Track: Congratulations to Tamoni Jordan for breaking our indoor school records in the Long Jump and the Triple Jump at SIU-C on Friday.
Congratulations to Peter Taylor for breaking the 3200m Indoor school record Saturday at SIU-Carbondale. Peter crushed the previous record of 12:11.98 set in 2017 with a time of 10:40.31!
Also, congratulations to Chris Sacayon for a huge PR in the 1600m race. He ran a time of 5:06.53, taking 16 seconds off his previous mile time!
