Dupo High School Announcements

All Students: Please make sure that when you are called out of school to stop by the office to sign out. If you fail to do so this could result in an unexcused absence.

All Students:  The annual Bluffview and Jr/ Sr. High School Holiday Season Christmas Choir Concert will be held next Tuesday the 5th  at 6 p.m. in the big gym.  Please plan on attending.  There will also be a Scholastic Book Fair and Art ShowCase, Mrs. Claus will read a story and we will have Cookies & Milk.  Other activities are also planned.  Looking forward to seeing you.

Seniors Only: On Monday, December 4th, you do not need to attend school because of MAP testing. Also, you do not need a parent to call you off for that day as well.

Hot Chocolate: The Dupo Drama Club is selling Hot Cocoa in the mornings from November 27th through December 8th.  Come early and grab some goodness to get your day started the right way!

Jr High Boys Basketball: Congratulations to the 8th Grade boys basketball team for winning their game last night against New Athens 52-29. The Tigers played an all-around great game led by Carter Robinson’s 21 points and 12 points from Braxton Barnett.

High School Student Council: There will be a high school student council meeting on Friday for the last 10 minutes of class. 

Esports: We will be hosting practices after school on Mondays for anyone wishing to get experience playing Fortnite, Overwatch, or Super Smash Brothers.  

Game Day:  Yes! We will have Game Day this week.

Scholastic Book Fair:  7 Days!  Yes, the countdown to the Scholastic Book Fair has begun.  Our Fair begins next Tuesday, December 5th. Check out the digital book flyers.

Seniors: Please email Renae Schroeder a baby picture.

Air Force JROTC annual Food Drive: Will run until Friday, 8 December.  This food drive is open to the entire school and will help restock 0a local pantry for the holiday season. Check with your teachers to see if they will give extra credit for donations. Please drop your donations off in the Air Force JROTC classroom. 

Bowling: Congratulations to our Boys JV team and  Girls Varsity team on their win last night against East Alton Wood River. The Boys Varsity team reeled in a tie. Way to go tigers!
