Dupo JH/HS Announcements

HS Softball: The Tigers won their first game of the season against Metro East Lutheran on Monday 12-2. Addie Thompson led the way with pitching a stellar game and the Tigers collectively had 13 stolen bases. The softball team’s first home game is this Thursday against East St. Louis. Hope to see you there.

HS Track: Congratulations to Braxton Barnett for breaking the school indoor record indoor record for shot put and the men's 4x800 team consisting of Wyatt Brown, Carter Lumpkins, Tanner Franics, and Aidan Finley for breaking the 11 year old school indoor record on Saturday. Also Keith West for winning the triple jump. 

Dance Team Tryouts: The 2025-26 Dance Team Tryouts will be today, Tuesday, March 18th at 5:30pm. All students trying out must have a current physical on file.  Please check with the office to verify.

Yearbooks: Students, yearbooks are on sale now!  They can be purchased at jostens.com or in Mr. Weier’s classroom.  

Community Awareness Day: This Saturday we are hosting our annual Community Awareness Day event from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm in the High School Gym. Vendors from local agencies and businesses will share resources within our surrounding community. There will be games, attendance prizes, free food, and lots of freebies from our vendors. Additionally, Dupo Jr High and High School students who attend the event will have an opportunity to earn extra credit in one or more classes. This event is completely free, open to the public, and fun for all ages so bring your friends and family! 

FCA: Come join us on Monday the 24th at 6:30 for FCA. We will meet down in Mr. Robinson’s room; eat dinner which will be glizzy’s and burgers and do our devo; then head up stairs for games in the big gym. HIGH SCHOOL AND EIGHTH GRADERS INVITED!
