Dupo JH/HS Announcements
High School Student Council: Student Council officer and membership forms have been handed out. Please pick up the forms in the office or from Ms. Janssen. Each packet has different due dates, and you can turn them in to Ms. Janssen. If your forms are overdue, you cannot run for election. Executive elections will be held on April 30th in 7th hour. Class Officer elections will be held on May 9th.
Yearbooks: Students, yearbooks are on sale now! They can be purchased at jostens.com or in Mr. Weier’s classroom.
Seniors: Please get all fees paid in your account. If all fees are not paid by graduation practice, you will be unable to walk at graduation.
Seniors: If you want to be exempt from finals, you must have the forms turned into the high school office by Wednesday, April 30.
HS Track: Congratulations to the following track athletes for getting first in their events at Friday’s meet in Sparta: Alli Taylor in shot put and discus- in which she broke her own school record, Braxton Barnett in discus, Keara Prater in triple jump, and Keith West in the 110 meter hurdles and the triple jump in which he broke the school record that had been in place since 2013.
JH Cheer: JH Cheer workshops will be May 5 and 6 from 3:30-5:30pm in the little gym. Tryouts will be May 8 from 3:30-4:30pm in the little gym. In order to attend the workshop and tryout, you must have a current sports physical on file, you must turn in the completed questionnaire and signed consent form. Those forms can be found in the office.
High School Students: Field Day is this Friday, May 2, after high school lunches.
