Game Day:  There WILL NOT be Game Day on Thursday.

High School Student Council: This is the last week to buy your homecoming shirts!  Buy your shirt during lunch with Ms. Janssen or with a designated teacher. Shirts cost $25.00

Homecoming: It’s time to Play It Loud for this year’s homecoming! Homecoming week is September 20th through the 27th. The dance will be on Saturday, the 27th, and you can purchase your ticket at the high school office. Tickets cost $15.00.

Football Spirit: Show your school spirit by wearing red, white, and blue to the football game this Friday. 

High School Girls Golf: Congratulations to the High School Girls Golf Team on earning 1st place for their match at Belk Park Golf Course against Roxana, Granite City, and Brussels. Lily McMannis, Bella Elfrink, Aubriegh Sams, and Payton DeJarnette led the way for the Lady Tigers.

High School Cross Country :  Congratulations to the high school cross country team for a strong performance at their race on Tuesday at Marissa.  Special shout out to Tania Rivas for finishing in the to 20 to earn a medal!

Drama Club Fundraiser: While you’re getting ready for the homecoming dance, let the Drama Club get your car or truck looking shiny and new. Come out to our $5 Car Wash on September 27th from 9am to 1pm. We’ll get your ride clean and drippin’ to impress your date for the big night.  

Drama Club: Auditions for the Drama Club Dinner Theater Performance of “Cafe Murder” will be held through September 11th, in Mr. Tidball’s room from 3pm to 4pm. This is open to both Junior High and High School students. Whether you would like to be on stage, or work behind the scenes, we’ve got a place or a part for you.

All Students: We need your voice! If you are interested in joining choir please join us in Ms. Wuerffel’s room, room #128, from 3:00-3:45pm on Thursday, September 11, for an informational meeting.

Junior High School Student Council : We will have our first JH Student Council meeting Friday, September 12th, at 2:15 in room 149.  Student council members, you will receive an email from Mrs. Lenz reminding you about the meeting.

Notes from the Nurse: Did you know that poor dental health can have serious health consequences? If you do not have a regular dentist, please see Nurse Kendra to sign up for Dental Safari!  Reminder to 9th grade students: you need to turn in a dental exam.

Sophomores:  Check your email for volleyball concession sign-ups!
