Mr. Griffin’s School Orientation class recently took on the challenge of relearning and practicing cursive handwriting — a timeless skill that remains valuable in today’s world. Students learned how cursive is still used in many real-life situations, including signing letters, applications, checks, and important documents.

As part of the lesson, students practiced proper penmanship and discovered how cursive writing helps with fine motor skills, brain development, and personal expression. Mr. Griffin shared that this unit was a great opportunity to reintroduce an important skill that prepares students for the future both personally and professionally.
