Game Day: There WILL be Game Day on Thursday.
All JH and HS students: Art Club is hosting a Holiday Workshop every Tuesday from 3-4pm in the Art room. We will be creating holiday ornaments to sell at the Holiday Concert and Art Show on Wednesday December 10. Come have fun being creative! See Mrs. Dinsenmeyer or Ms. Wuerffel with any questions!
High School Cross Country: Congratulations to Tania Rivas, McCulloch Miller, & Keith West for placing as a Top 5 individual at the Regional Cross Country meet last Saturday. All three qualified for the Sectional meet which will be held on November 1st at Wesclin High School.
Esports: Congratulations to the Fortnite Team who made it into the playoff on October 27th. They are the 22nd ranked Fortnite team in their state division after competing against over 40 teams, and will play the state’s top 33 teams to try and take home the victory royale.
Scholar Bowl: Any high school student that missed the Scholar Bowl meeting, stop by and see Coach Mendoza in room 153 in the junior high for information on joining the team.
JH Students: Want to send a fun, festive message to your friends for Halloween? BooGrams are the perfect way to share some Halloween cheer! BooGrams will be on sale until October 29th during 7th hour guided advisory and the cost is 50 cents each. BooGrams will be delivered on Halloween.
HS Bowling: Boys Bowling Tryouts will be October 29th and October 30th after school at West Park Bowl in Columbia, IL. If you need transportation we will take the activity bus located in the student parking lot. Please be at the bus by 3:05PM. If you cannot make it to the tryouts please see Mr. Griffin about make-up dates. Thank you!
Girls Swimming: Any high school girl interested in competing in the IHSA swimming post season, there will be a meeting at 2:30 pm on Tuesday, Oct. 28 in Mrs. Weier’s room. You must have regular season timings to compete.
JH Student Council: Our next Student Council meeting is Wednesday, October 29th, in Mrs. Lenz’s room during Guided Advisory. We will be assembling Boo Grams at our meeting.
