Dupo High School this week announced that Patrick Baker has accepted the position of head football coach for the Tigers entering the start of the 2026 fall season.

Baker brings over two decades of coaching experience to Dupo football, including four years as offensive line coach at Columbia.

His high school coaching career also includes stops at Kirkwood and Belleville West. At the collegiate level, Baker has coached at Kent State, McKendree, Missouri Baptist and Northwestern.

Baker previously taught at the Lindbergh Academy Alternative Program. Baker succeeds outgoirk head football coach Zach Klaustermeier, who recently accepted the same position at Staunton.

In four seasons at Dupo, Klaustermeier led the Tigers to three playoff appearances in Class 1A with a 23-17 overall record. Klaustermeier originally grew up in Bunker Hill until high school. Staunton eventually formed a football co-op with Bunker Hill in 2021.
