Junior High Cross country: Congratulations to the junior high cross country team for wrapping up their season on Wednesday with Regionals at Waterloo. Special shout out to Casey Duck and Lucas Alexander for being the top Dupo finishers in races.
High School Cross Country: Congratulations to the high school cross country team for a strong race at Benton this last Saturday. Special shout out to Angel Hueso-Cruz for putting up a career best time of 17:12! Next up is the Conference meet on Thursday!
High School Drama Club: Auditions for Promageddon will be held at 3:30-5:00 on Thursday, October 15. Please see Dr. Simmons for audition scripts. If you are unable to attend auditions after school, please contact Dr. Simmons or Ms. Beatty to arrange an audition during 7th hour.
GAME DAY CLUB: THERE WILL BE NO GAME DAY ON OCTOBER 15 DUE TO CONFERENCES.
Junior High Boy’s Basketball: Coach Schutzy will have an informational meeting TODAY, Friday October 9th @ 2:30 pm (7th hr) in the cafeteria for those interested in trying out for 7th and 8th grade basketball this season.
Junior High Student: BooGrams will be on sale for $1 from October 14th to the 29th and will be delivered Friday, October 30th. Student council members will be selling BooGrams during Guided Advisory.
Junior High Students: Have you ever played golf? Please check your email and take the attached survey by next Thursday.
Bowling: If you are interested in trying out for the bowling team we will have boys tryouts on Wednesday, October 28th and Thursday, October 29th from 3:15pm-5:00pm at West Park Bowl in Columbia IL. Girls tryouts will be on Monday, November 16th and Tuesday, November 17th. In addition, we will have a parent informational meeting on Wednesday, October 21st starting at 6:00PM in Mr. Griffin’s room.
Parent/Teacher Conferences: Students, please reminder your parents if they need to schedule a conference with your teacher(s), please either contact the teacher directly via email or call the school office and the secretaries will be happy to set up an a conference appointment. Conferences are being scheduled for Thursday, October 15 and Wednesday, October 21. We hope to see you there!
