Today, a group of students got the opportunity to experience "A Day in the Trades - From blueprint to built!" We toured a kitchen and bath remodeling company (and made our own tiles), 3 houses being built, and a home improvement store/warehouse. Thanks to JDS Construction and all the other organizations that created this event and invited Dupo to participate!

We had a blast at the Metro East Construction Expo today! Students were able to speak to a variety of tradesmen and women about their careers and try out job skills for themselves... real AND virtually!

Future electricians in the making! ⚡️ Dupo and Columbia electrical classes are leveling up their skills and learning the essentials: how to properly use and read a tape measure. Precision starts here!

Seniors and parents:
We are happy to announce that we are having a second FAFSA night! Please mark your calendars for November 4th - 6:00pm! Come complete the application and get any questions answered. We will be here and ready to help!

Freshman Honors worked hard on their Two-Pager this week. Great start to the 2nd Quarter! The students compared one short story from the first quarter with the Book Club novel they chose, and highlighted a theme both stories shared.

Congratulations to Brad Weier, October 2025 Staff Member of the Month!

Students in Mrs. Dougherty and Mr. Grapperhaus' classes they were tasked with choosing an ecosystem and creating a diorama to show the plants and animals in that ecosystem. They chose a forest, the dessert, freshwater, tundra, rainforest, ocean, and the smoky mountains. They will present them tomorrow to explain their choices of how to showcase their ecosystem to get the point across. They did an amazing job!
