HS Cross Country : Congratulations to the cross country team . Yesterday the high school and junior high teams competed at the Red Bud invitational. The junior high team had 3 top 10 finishes: Carter Lumpkins-2nd, Jastek Ross-7th, and McCulloch Miller-5th. For the high school: Peter Taylor-2nd, Chris Sacayon-6th, and August Ross-5th. Congratulations to all the runners for tackling a tough course!

High School Cross Country
Congratulations to the high school cross country team for their outstanding performances at their meet this past Saturday at Wesclin High School. Every runner earned a new personal best! Peter Taylor and Chris Sacayon earned medals on the boys side for their 7th and 20th place finishes. And August Ross earned a medal on the girls side for her 19th place finish! Congratulations to the team for all their great races!!

Don't forget! Tonight is our Financial Aid Information Night at 6:30pm in the high school cafeteria. We will have a representative from the Illinois Student Assistance Commission present on the ins and outs of financial aid and how it can help you further your education after high school. Float building
Float building will begin today from 3:00-8:00. You can work over the weekend from 12:00-4:00 on Saturday and Sunday. Come out to support your class and compete against the other grade levels.

Last Friday, high school students attended SWIC’s Manufacturing Day. They had the opportunity to visit with industry experts, tour SWIC’s Granite City programs, tour PRI.
