The Maintenance & Facilities Department is responsible for the general oversight, maintenance, and upkeep of both school locations.

Facility Rental Information

Some district facilities are available for rental when not in use by District 196 students. Interested parties should first complete a Facility Use Application, well in advance of the planned event.

The application process is as follows:

• Reviewed by building principal.

• If approved, application is sent to the superintendent for review.

• Upon approval by Board of Education, the group will be contacted and asked to pay fees in advance of use.

• Priority is given to student community organizations. Interested parties are encouraged to apply for facility use three to six months in advance of the event.

• Rental policies and fees are available by contacting the central office.
