Note: Should an application for a waiver or modification of state board rules or school code mandates be utilized, the District would submit the application only after holding a public hearing. The hearing may be held in conjunction with a regularly scheduled meeting so long as a separate time period is provided to take testimony on the waiver or modification request.

The District would provide proper notice of the hearing through state-approved public notice channels, all of which must state the time, date, location and general subject matter of the hearing.

Steven's Amendment

Projects or programs funded in whole or in part with Federal grant money must credit the Federal government for the Federal government's portion of the financial support. This citation informs the public that the use of Federal dollars in Dupo CUSD 196 meets the Stevens Amendment requirement. Staff development opportunities, resource purchases, and personnel have been funded in whole or in part with Federal entitlement dollars.
